Itinerary
Arrival, Relax & Kankaria Lakefront
Arrive at Ahmedabad airport/railway station and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, enjoy an easy evening at Kankaria Lakefront with its light-and-sound promenade, toy train, and family rides. Option to visit the nearby Kankaria Water Rides / Funworld for early-evening splashes and games. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Important: If your arrival is late, the Kankaria visit can be moved to Day 3.
Science City & Planetarium Experience
Spend a full morning at the acclaimed Science City, Ahmedabad — enjoy interactive galleries, the Energy Pavilion and the Giant Screen Theatre. Post-lunch, visit the Science City Water/Wet zone or a local family waterpark for afternoon fun. Evening at leisure with optional local market exploration.
Tip: Book the Giant Screen/Shows in advance on peak days to secure preferred timings.
IIM Ahmedabad, Calico Museum & Textile Trails
Morning photostop and guided walk around the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad campus (subject to permissions). Continue to the Calico Museum of Textiles (pre-booking required) to discover centuries of Gujarati textile heritage. Afternoon free for shopping at Law Garden Night Market — perfect for handicrafts, bandhani and souvenirs.

Adalaj Stepwell & Transfer to Gandhinagar - Akshardham Evening
Check out from the hotel and visit the stunning Adalaj Stepwell — a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Drive to Gandhinagar and check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit the serene Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar) for its illuminated complex and light-show (if available).
Tip: Modest dress is recommended for temple visits.
Indroda Park & Waterpark Day
After breakfast, visit Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park (often called India’s Jurassic Park) to delight children and adults with life-size replicas and a nature walk. Post-lunch, enjoy an afternoon at a nearby family waterpark or resort water facilities in the Gandhinagar area. Evening at leisure; optional cultural program or local cuisine tasting.
Important: Carry swimwear, sunscreen and a hat for waterpark and outdoor activities.
Return to Ahmedabad & Departure
After breakfast, check-out and transfer back to Ahmedabad. Depending on your departure timing, stop for quick visits or shopping at Manek Chowk/CG Road or a quick photo-stop at Sidi Saiyyed Mosque (famous stone latticework). Transfer to Ahmedabad airport/railway station for your onward journey.
Tip: Keep travel documents handy and plan at least 3 hours for airport departures from Ahmedabad.
