Arrive in Jaipur. Transfer to hotel and check-in. Afternoon gentle orientation with a visit to Hawa Mahal (photo stop) and a relaxed walk around the bazaars for colorful textiles and kid-friendly sweets. Evening family puppet show at the hotel or a short cultural performance.
Tip: Keep this day light to adjust to the region and timezone. Hydration and sunscreen recommended for children.
Amber Fort, City Palace & Folk Evening
Morning visit to Amber Fort with an optional short elephant/jeep ride to the fort entrance — children enjoy the ramparts and palace courtyards. Explore the interactive galleries at City Palace, then visit Jantar Mantar for a fun, educational introduction to ancient astronomy.
In the evening, experience Chokhi Dhani — a family-friendly village resort with folk dances, puppet shows, traditional Rajasthani dinner and activities for kids.
Note: Elephant rides are optional; jeep transfers are available for families preferring a quicker approach.
Drive to Jodhpur — Forts & Museum Fun
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (approx. 5–6 hours with breaks). Check into hotel and enjoy a relaxed lunch. Afternoon visit to Mehrangarh Fort with its toy museum and interactive exhibits that appeal to children, plus panoramic views of the 'Blue City.' Stop by Jaswant Thada for a quiet garden walk.
Tip: Pack snacks for the road and schedule short breaks — there are safe roadside stops and small eateries en route.
Drive to Jaisalmer via Osian — Camel Fun & Fort Walk
Depart Jodhpur after breakfast and drive to Jaisalmer (approx. 5–6 hours). Optional stop at Osian for a short camel ride or sand play (excellent for kids). Arrive in Jaisalmer, check in and visit Gadisar Lake and Jaisalmer Fort for an early evening stroll among shops and carved balconies.
Important: The Osian stop is optional and can be shortened for younger children.
Sam Sand Dunes — Desert Safari & Cultural Camp
Morning at leisure — visit local crafts shops or a small folk museum. In the late afternoon, transfer to Sam Sand Dunes for a family-friendly camel ride or a guided jeep dune safari. Spend the night at a comfortable desert camp with mattresses, warm dinners and a curated cultural program including puppet shows, folk music and dance.
Note: Camps used for families include child-safe bedding and have private washrooms in premium options. Inform us in advance for infant/child bedding.
Morning Desert Sunrise & Departure
