Arrival at Dehradun / Haridwar — Transfer & Relax
Arrive at Dehradun (Jolly Grant) airport or Haridwar/Rishikesh railway station. Meet your representative and transfer to your hotel in Haridwar. Evening free to explore the Har Ki Pauri ghats and attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
Important: Allow time for arrival formalities. Stay overnight in Haridwar.

Drive Haridwar to Chopta — Scenic Mountain Road
Early breakfast and depart for Chopta by road (approx. 7–8 hours). The drive passes through picturesque towns and pine forests with stops en route for photos and refreshments. Arrive at Chopta, check-in at the guesthouse/hotel and relax. Short nature walk in the evening to soak in alpine meadows and sunset views.
Note: Road to Chopta includes ghat sections; comfort stops planned.

Explore Chopta — Leisure Day & Optional Short Hikes
Spend the day acclimatising and exploring Chopta meadows. Options include easy walks to nearby vantage points, birdwatching, and visiting local villages. Prepare gear and rest early for the pre-dawn trek the next day.
Tip: Carry warm layers — nights can be chilly even in summer. Hotel dinner included.

Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila — Sunrise Special
Pre-dawn transfer and start the trek to Tungnath Temple (approx. 3.5 km uphill) and onward to Chandrashila Summit (additional 1 km). Reach Chandrashila in time for a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas, including views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and the Kedarnath range. Return to Chopta by late morning for a relaxed afternoon.
This is the highlight day of the Uttarakhand Adventure tour package — guided Tungnath–Chandrashila trek, breakfast en route, and plenty of photo stops.
Important: Moderate fitness required. Trails are stone-paved but steep in parts. Pack water, sunscreen, and a headlamp for early hours.

Deoria Tal Excursion or Leisure — Return to Dehradun
Option A: Early morning excursion to Deoria Tal (clear alpine lake with mirror reflections of Chaukhamba range) — ideal for photographers and an optional short trek. Option B: Leisure morning in Chopta — later drive down to Dehradun (or Haridwar) with scenic stops en route. Evening free in Dehradun for local shopping or a relaxed walk.
Tip: Deoria Tal is a moderate trek; choose based on fitness and weather.

Departure from Dehradun / Haridwar
After breakfast, transfer to Dehradun (Jolly Grant) airport or Haridwar/Rishikesh railway station for onward journey. Trip concludes with fond memories of the Sunrise Peaks Package.
Special note: Flexible drop options available (Dehradun/Haridwar/Rishikesh). Do plan travel bookings after 12:00 PM if coming from Chopta to allow comfortable transit.
