Itinerary

Day1

Arrival & Easy Valley Strolls

Arrive at Manali (by road or flight+drive). Transfer to your hotel, check-in and relax. Later enjoy a gentle walk on Mall Road to soak the mountain air and sample local snacks. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the shops and cafés of Manali Town.

Tip: Early arrival helps beat the crowds on Mall Road and gives time to acclimatize.

Day2

Solang Valley Excursion & Adventure Options

Full-day excursion to Solang Valley — enjoy panoramic views and a range of light-adventure options (paragliding, rope activities, and zorbing) which are optional and seasonal. For families preferring calm, take valley walks, horse rides or a short picnic by the meadows.

Note: Rohtang Pass is seasonal and requires separate permits; Solang is the family-friendly alternative.

Day3

Old Manali, Cafés & Local Cuisine Walk

Explore Old Manali with its bohemian cafés, boutique stores and riverside vibe. Visit Manu Temple, walk along the Beas River and enjoy an evening food walk sampling local Himachali dishessiddu, trout (seasonal), and local breads—with a guided tasting.

Special: A short guided food tasting (30–45 mins) introduces guests to authentic Himachali flavors.

Day4

Kullu Valley & Naggar Castle Day Trip

Take a scenic drive to Kullu Valley for valley vistas, apple orchards and traditional crafts. Visit Naggar Castle and the local art gallery, and stop at a shawl-weaving demonstration. Return to Manali by late afternoon for a relaxed evening.

Tip: Carry a light jacket — hill weather changes quickly even in summer.

Day5

Vashisht Village, Hot Springs & Jogini Waterfall Walk

Visit Vashisht village to experience natural hot springs and traditional Himachali village life. Embark on the short trek to Jogini Waterfall (family-friendly 20–40 min walk from Vashisht) and enjoy peaceful riverside picnic spots.

Note: The Jogini walk has mild steps — suitable for active families; bring good walking shoes.

Day6

Leisure, Local Workshops & Farewell Evening

A relaxed day for shopping, optional spa or a hands-on Himachali cooking demo where families learn to prepare a simple local meal. Afternoon at leisure for last-minute photos, souvenirs and café time. Conclude with a farewell dinner featuring Himachali specialties.

Optional activities: spa treatment, guided photography walk, or an evening of local folk music (subject to availability).

Day7

Departure — Transfer & Goodbyes

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the onward destination (airport/railway station/road). Allow extra time for mountain traffic and check-in procedures.

Tip: If you have a late departure, request a day-use room or luggage hold to make the most of your last hours in Manali.

Inclusions

  • 6 nights accommodation in Manali (as per selected hotel category)
  • Daily breakfast and 3 dinners (as specified by the hotel)
  • Airport/railway/bus stand transfers on arrival & departure (as per itinerary)

Himachal for Four Under Our Actual Budget

We were honestly expecting hidden charges somewhere — that's just how these things usually go. But TourGrids quoted us a package for Himachal covering hotels, cabs, and a couple of meals, and the final bill matched almost to the rupee. I travelled with my husband and two friends, and we did the math after returning — booking everything separately would have cost us at least 15–18% more, easily. Hotels were proper good, not some random guesthouses. The cab driver was reliable throughout. Our coordinator Priya was reachable on WhatsApp whenever we had questions, even small ones. Genuinely felt like the price was fair without cutting corners.

Our Himachal Coordinator Replied Within Two Minutes

My husband and I were a little nervous handing over a full Himachal trip to someone we'd only spoken to on WhatsApp. But the coordinator TourGrids assigned us — Priya — was genuinely on top of everything. Before we even reached Manali, she had already confirmed the hotel, shared the cab driver's number, and sent us a day-by-day breakdown. One evening our driver got delayed and she sorted it on call within minutes, no excuses. Hotels were proper good for the price we paid, and there were no surprise charges at checkout. The whole trip felt like someone was watching over it quietly. Really glad we went with them.

Cab Replacement Confirmed While We Were Still Panicking

We were halfway through our Himachal trip — somewhere between Manali and Kasol — when our cab driver suddenly said he couldn't continue due to a family emergency. My wife and I had no idea what to do. Called our TourGrids coordinator immediately and within 40 minutes a replacement cab was confirmed, driver details shared on WhatsApp, and we barely lost two hours. No extra charge, no runaround. The entire Himachal itinerary had been planned around our pace as a couple, hotels were proper good, and check-ins were always pre-informed. But that one moment on the road showed us what actually separates a good travel company from a random aggregator. Will be back for the next trip.

Woke Up to Perfect Hotels Every Single Morning

Honestly, the properties TourGrids picked for our Himachal trip were the real highlight. My wife and I were a bit skeptical about handing over hotel selection to someone else, but every stay — from Manali to Kasol — was proper good. Clean rooms, decent views, breakfast included without any last-minute surprises. The cab arrangements were equally solid. Driver showed up on time each day, knew the mountain roads well, and never rushed us. Whatever we flagged on WhatsApp, the coordinator sorted on call within the hour. No confusion at checkouts, no hidden charges. For a couple planning a hill trip without wanting to micromanage every detail, this worked out really well.

Akash Kotturu

Himachal Itinerary Built Exactly Around Our Dates

I'd been putting off planning a Himachal trip with my wife for almost a year because coordinating everything felt overwhelming. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I messaged them on WhatsApp. Within a day, someone from the team called and actually listened — I told them we wanted less crowded spots and more flexibility on rest days, and they built the itinerary around that. No generic package. Cab timings, hotel preferences, altitude concerns for my wife — all noted and reflected in the final plan. Pricing was transparent, no hidden charges at checkout. The whole booking process took maybe three days total. Really did not expect it to be this straightforward.
