Itinerary
Arrival, Transfer to Kovalam & Sunset at the Beach
Arrive at Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) Airport/Railway Station and meet your private transfer. Drive to Kovalam (approx. 30–45 minutes). Check in at your family-friendly beach resort. Spend the afternoon relaxing on Lighthouse Beach and enjoy the first Kerala sunset. Evening at leisure with optional local seafood dinner.
Tip: Airport transfers are included. Keep your ID and travel documents ready for check-in.
Kovalam Beach Day & Ayurvedic Wellness
A full day to enjoy the beaches and gentle activities. Morning beach time at Hawa Beach and Lighthouse Beach with optional family water sports (subject to availability). After lunch, experience a relaxing Ayurvedic massage or spa session (optional/add-on). In the late afternoon, visit the Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium or stroll along the promenade.
Important: Ayurvedic treatments are optional and charged separately unless pre-booked.
Transfer to Poovar Island & Backwater Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to Poovar. Embark on a scenic backwater cruise through the estuary where the Neyyar River meets the Arabian Sea. Enjoy mangrove-lined waterways, village views and birdlife. Check into your island resort and relax on the beach or take a sunset boat ride.
Highlight: The Poovar boat cruise is included and is ideal for family photos and wildlife spotting.
Poovar Nature Walk, Village Visit & Return to Kovalam
Start the day with a guided nature walk or canoe ride through the mangroves. Visit a nearby coastal village to see traditional fishing life and local crafts. After lunch, return to Kovalam. Optionally, stop at Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum (observe dress code) and browse Chalai Market for spices and souvenirs. Evening free at leisure.
Note: Temple entry timings and dress code (men: dhoti/full trousers, women: saree/long skirt & blouse) must be followed.
Depart Trivandrum — Farewell Kerala
