Arrival, Transfer to Varkala & Cliffside Sunset
Arrive at Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) Airport or Kochi and transfer (approx. 1–3 hours depending on arrival point) to the scenic Varkala Cliff. Check in to your cliffside resort. Spend the evening strolling the famous cliff promenade and enjoy the first spectacular sunset at Varkala Beach. Dinner at a seaside restaurant.
Tip: Carry comfortable walking shoes for the cliff promenade and light layers for the evening breeze.
Ayurvedic Consultation & Wellness Day
Start with a personalized Ayurvedic consultation at a certified wellness center. Enjoy tailored therapies like Abhyanga (traditional oil massage), steam or a relaxing herbal poultice. Afternoon at leisure on Varkala Beach or try a private yoga session on the cliff.

Temple Visit, Local Culture & Cliff Cafés
Visit the ancient Janardana Swamy Temple (a peaceful pilgrimage site) and explore the local markets for handicrafts and spices. Afternoon free to relax at the cliff cafés with panoramic sea views. Optional sunset cruise or a short trek to nearby Kappil Lake for birdwatching.
Note: Dress modestly when visiting temples. Photography restrictions may apply inside the temple premises.
Transfer to Alleppey & Backwater Houseboat Experience
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha) for an iconic Kerala backwaters experience. Board a private/standard houseboat and cruise through palm-fringed canals, paddy fields and quaint villages on a backwater houseboat cruise on Vembanad Lake. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala cuisine on board and watch the sunset from the deck.
Highlight: The houseboat offers an unforgettable romantic night under starlit skies — ideal for honeymooners.
Disembark, Return to Varkala & Leisure
Disembark after a leisurely morning on the backwaters. Drive back to Varkala. Afternoon at leisure to revisit your favorite cliffside spots, enjoy a couple's spa treatment, or simply rest at the resort.
Tip: Use this day to pick up souvenirs or enjoy a romantic candle-lit dinner on the cliff.
Departure — Transfer to Airport
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Thiruvananthapuram Airport or Kochi Airport for your onward journey. Depending on flight timing, enjoy a final short beach walk or morning yoga on the cliff.
Important: Confirm your airport transfer time the night before checkout to ensure a smooth departure.
