Itinerary
Arrival in Srinagar — Dal Lake & Mughal Gardens
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and meet your representative for an easy transfer to your hotel. After freshening up, enjoy a relaxed Shikara ride on Dal Lake to watch the floating gardens and houseboats. Later visit the historic Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh for sunset views. Evening at leisure with a welcome briefing about the Pahalgam adventure days ahead.
Tip: Keep your camera ready — Dal Lake offers golden hour reflections ideal for family photos.
Drive to Pahalgam — Village Walk & Evening Pony Ride
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive (approx. 2.5–3 hours) to Pahalgam along picturesque river valleys. Check in to your family-friendly hotel and relax. In the afternoon, take a short village walk along the Lidder River and then enjoy your first pony ride to Baisaran Meadow (Mini Switzerland) — a gentle ride ideal for children and elders.
Important: Pony rides included for one short round per person; longer rides available at additional cost.
Betaab & Aru Valley — Family Trails and Photography
Full day of easy explorations: visit Betaab Valley (famous for movie shoots), then proceed to Aru Valley for a peaceful picnic and short nature trails. Plenty of photo stops — meadows, stream crossings, and panoramic views make this day a family favorite. Return to Pahalgam for evening relaxation.
Note: Paths are stroller/child-friendly in most areas, but bring comfortable shoes for rocky patches.
Chandanwari & Lidder River Activities — Optional Trout Fishing
After breakfast, drive or take a short pony/jeep ride to Chandanwari where you can walk gentle trails and enjoy the alpine air. Afternoon at leisure — options include a guided nature walk, optional trout fishing in the Lidder River (seasonal and permit-based), or a relaxed riverside picnic.
Special note: Trout fishing requires a local permit and is seasonal — we can arrange permits in advance on request.
Adventure Options — River Rafting / Kolahoi Viewpoint / Leisure Day
Customize this day according to family energy levels: choose an optional river rafting experience on the Lidder River (seasonal and age/weight restrictions apply), a scenic jeep trip toward the Kolahoi Glacier viewpoint, or enjoy a relaxed day with pony rides and meadow games in Pahalgam.
Tip: River rafting is available from late spring to early autumn. Book in advance if you want rafting included.
Return to Srinagar & Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Srinagar. If time permits, enjoy last-minute shopping for Kashmiri handicrafts, saffron, and walnuts in the old city or visit a nearby garden. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight with cherished memories of your Kashmir Adventure tour package.
Important: Standard hotel check-out times apply; share flight details in advance for smooth transfers.
