Itinerary
Arrival and Drive to Munsiyari
Start early from Kathgodam/Haldwani or nearest railhead and enjoy a long scenic drive into the Kumaon Himalaya. Expect stops en route for breaks and photographs. On arrival in Munsiyari, check in and unwind. Evening short orientation and a gentle walk around the Munsiyari market to meet local guides.
Tip: Carry warm layers — temperatures drop fast after sunset.
Acclimatization, Village Walk & Sunset Views
A relaxed day to acclimatize and soak in mountain life. Take a guided village walk to nearby hamlets, visit local farms and the small Munsiyari viewpoint for sunset panoramas of Panchachuli and Nanda Devi. Evening free for cultural interactions at the lodge or homestay.
Important: Drink plenty of water and avoid strenuous activity while acclimatizing.
Ralam Valley Short Trek (Moderate)
After breakfast embark on the highlight trek into Ralam Valley or an alpine meadow such as Thamri Bugyal (route subject to local conditions). This moderate trek (4–6 hours) leads through rhododendron and alpine pastures with progressively grander views of the Panchachuli peaks. Return to Munsiyari for dinner.

Drive to Khati Village — Homestay Experience
Leave Munsiyari after breakfast for a short scenic drive to Khati Village, an offbeat Himalayan hamlet known for traditional Kumaoni homes and close mountain vistas. Spend the day exploring narrow lanes, meeting villagers, and learning local crafts or farming practices. Enjoy an evening homestay meal and storytelling with hosts.

Khati Village Hikes and Birthi Falls Visit
