Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Settle in, relax, and attend a short welcome briefing with your guide covering the week's plan, safety notes, and packing checks.
Evening: Enjoy a welcome dinner with traditional Nepali cuisine and a chance to meet fellow travelers.
Tip: Keep a daypack and essentials handy for early morning departures.
Kathmandu Valley Cultural Tour
Explore the cultural heart of Nepal on a guided tour. Visit the UNESCO sites of Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) for panoramic city views, Boudhanath Stupa (one of the largest stupas in Asia), and Pashupatinath Temple—a major Hindu pilgrimage site. Finish with a stroll through Patan Durbar Square to admire Newar architecture and local arts.
Note: Dress respectfully at religious sites; photography rules may vary.
Everest Panorama Scenic Flight & Trek to Phakding
Early morning departure for the iconic Everest Panorama Flight—a breathtaking aerial view of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and surrounding peaks. After landing in Lukla (weather permitting), begin your short trek along the Dudh Koshi valley to Phakding.
Evening: Overnight in a tea-house in Phakding and meet local Sherpa families.
Important: The scenic flight is weather-dependent; schedule flexibility is built into the itinerary.
Trek to Namche Bazaar
Trek through scenic rhododendron forests and cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Ascend to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa hub with panoramic mountain views. Afternoon free to explore local markets and acclimatize.
Highlights: Local handicrafts, cafes with mountain views, and a visit to the Sherpa Museum (time permitting).
Tip: Walk slowly and hydrate well to aid acclimatization.
Acclimatization Day — Hike to Everest View / Local Culture
Acclimatization day with an optional morning hike to Everest View Hotel for spectacular sunrise panoramas of Everest and Ama Dablam. Visit a local monastery or the Khumjung village to learn about Sherpa life, honey-hunting history, and traditional architecture.
Evening: Cultural exchange with local residents or relaxed time in Namche Bazaar.
Note: This day is intentionally light to help your body adjust to altitude.
Return Trek to Lukla & Fly Back to Kathmandu
Retrace your steps down through the lower Khumbu, arriving in Lukla after a rewarding day of trekking. Board a short flight back to Kathmandu (or Kathmandu-bound flight via Ramechhap depending on schedules), then transfer to your hotel for rest.
Evening: Free time to relax or enjoy dinner in Thamel.
Important: Trek times vary—local guides will ensure a comfortable pace.
Bhaktapur & Patan Day Trip — Final Shopping
Discover the living art of the Kathmandu Valley with a day trip to Bhaktapur Durbar Square—known for its pottery lane and medieval architecture—and Patan (if time remains) for fine metalwork and courtyards. Return to Kathmandu for final packing and optional farewell activities.
Evening: Farewell dinner with a cultural performance (optional).
Tip: Carry local currency for handicrafts and street food purchases.

Nepal Hotel Switch Happened While We Were Travelling
We were already in the cab from Kathmandu to Pokhara when our coordinator messaged saying the hotel had overbooked our room. Before I could even get stressed, she had already found an alternative property, same area, actually a nicer view. By the time my husband and I checked in, everything was confirmed and there were no extra charges on our end. That kind of quick thinking is hard to find. The rest of the Nepal trip — Nagarkot, the lakeside stay, the drives — all went exactly as planned. Communication was easy throughout, mostly WhatsApp, and the itinerary had good flexibility built in. Genuinely felt like someone was paying attention the whole time.
Nepal Took Shape Over One Honest Call
I'd been putting off planning Nepal for almost a year because coordinating flights, hotels, and cabs across Kathmandu and Pokhara felt overwhelming. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I called them. Within that first conversation, they asked the right questions — how many days, what kind of hotels, whether my wife and I wanted any trekking or just sightseeing. No generic package was pushed on us. They sent a customised itinerary on WhatsApp the next day, adjusted two things I flagged, and that was it. Everything was transparent — no surprise charges when we actually travelled. The whole planning process honestly took less effort than booking a domestic flight myself.
Nepal Cabs and Hotels Both Exceeded Expectations
We were a couple doing Nepal for the first time and honestly had no idea where to even start. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I dropped them a message on WhatsApp and within the day we were on a call going through the full itinerary. What stood out most was the quality of properties they arranged — the resort in Pokhara especially was proper good, right by the lakeside, nothing like what I'd been finding on my own at that price. Cabs were always on time, drivers were polite, transfers between cities felt completely sorted. No surprises, no last-minute confusion. The coordinator stayed reachable throughout the trip, which honestly made all the difference.
Nepal Package Cheaper Than My Own Spreadsheet
I spent two weeks trying to plan Nepal independently — comparing hotels in Pokhara, checking cab rates, calculating Kathmandu transfers — and the numbers just kept climbing. One call with TourGrids and they put together a package that came in under what I had budgeted myself. Traveled with my husband for six nights and honestly everything was covered — decent hotels, all intercity transfers, breakfast included daily, and a coordinator we could reach on WhatsApp anytime. No hidden charges when we settled the final bill, which I genuinely wasn't expecting. The hotels were proper good, not budget guesthouses. Knowing someone had already sorted the ground logistics meant we actually enjoyed Nepal instead of managing it.
Nepal Planned Over Three Calls, Nothing Left Out
I was planning a Nepal trip with my wife and honestly had no clue where to start — Pokhara, Kathmandu, Chitwan, everything felt overwhelming to research alone. A friend suggested TourGrids and I just dropped them a WhatsApp. Within a few hours someone called back, asked proper questions about what we wanted, our pace, our budget. We had two or three calls total and by the end the itinerary felt like it was actually built for us, not copy-pasted from some template. Hotels were solid, the cab arrangements were sorted in advance, no last-minute confusion on the ground. No hidden charges either, which I was genuinely worried about. Really glad we went this route.
Nepal Hotels Were a Genuine Pleasant Surprise
We booked a Nepal trip for our honeymoon through TourGrids after a couple of WhatsApp conversations, and honestly the properties they arranged were the highlight. Every hotel — Pokhara especially — was proper good, clean rooms, great views, nothing felt like a random budget filler. The cab transfers between cities were on time without us having to chase anyone. Driver showed up early at Tribhuvan airport, which immediately set the right tone for the whole trip. Our coordinator had confirmed every transfer detail the night before, so there was zero confusion on ground. No surprise charges when we got back either. For a first international trip together, this felt very reassuring.
