Arrival & Drive to Govindghat — Begin the Mountain Journey
Pick up from Haridwar / Rishikesh in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive through the Garhwal foothills en route to Govindghat. Stop for photos at confluence points and villages like Devprayag and Karnaprayag. Arrive in Govindghat, check in, and prepare for the trek to Ghangaria the next morning. Overnight at Govindghat.
Trek to Ghangaria — Enter the Valley Gateway
After an early breakfast, begin the picturesque trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria (approx. 13–15 km by foot/pony; scenic trail along the Bhyundar Ganga). The walk climbs gently through lush forests and small hamlets, with dramatic views of the valley that opens into the Valley of Flowers. Arrive at Ghangaria, check into your guesthouse, and attend a short briefing about the next day's trek. Optional pony/porter services available for those who prefer assistance.
Valley of Flowers — Full Day Floral Trek; Evening Option for Hemkund Approach
Full-day excursion to the UNESCO-listed Valley of Flowers National Park. Explore carpets of alpine flowers, rare medicinal plants, and vibrant meadows with a trained guide who'll point out endemic species. In the late afternoon, you may start an optional Valley of Flowers trek toward Hemkund Sahib (or rest in Ghangaria). Keep cameras ready — flowering seasons (July–August) are prime.
Hemkund Sahib Pilgrimage — High-Altitude Lake & Return to Haridwar
Pre-dawn start for the steep trek to Hemkund Sahib (approx. 6 km ascent from Ghangaria). Visit the serene Hemkund glacial lake and the Gurudwara, soak in the spiritual atmosphere, and return to Ghangaria for breakfast. Later, trek back down to Govindghat, and drive to Haridwar / Rishikesh for your overnight stay. Acclimatize carefully; carry warm layers for Hemkund's chilly winds.
Departure — End of Valley of Flowers Express Package
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Haridwar / Rishikesh drop-off point (station/airport as per plan). Trip concludes with fond memories and photo-rich albums of the Himalaya. If time permits, attend the evening Ganga Aarti in Haridwar for a spiritual finale.
