Arrival in Jaisalmer — Heritage Walk & Evening Folk Performance
Arrive at Jaisalmer (by flight/train/car). Transfer to your hotel and freshen up. Spend the afternoon exploring the Jaisalmer Fort, wandering through narrow lanes, and visiting local havelis such as Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Rajasthani cuisine followed by a live folk music and dance performance showcasing local instruments and storytelling.
Special note: Carry sun protection during daytime and a light wrap for the cooler desert evenings.
Desert Safari & Overnight Camp — Campfire, Star-Gazing & Folk Dances
After breakfast, head out for a guided excursion to the Thar Desert. Enjoy a camel safari across golden dunes and experience dune activities (optional ATV rides). As evening falls, check into a curated desert camp. Relish a traditional Rajasthani meal around the campfire while local performers present folk dances (Kalbelia, Ghoomar) and live music. Spend the night in a comfortable tented camp under the stars.
Important: Desert camps can be remote — follow guide instructions and keep valuables secure.
Jaisalmer to Jodhpur — Fort Views & Blue City Stroll
After an early breakfast and transfer back to Jaisalmer town for departure, drive to Jodhpur (approx. 4–6 hours). On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Later, visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort with panoramic views of the Blue City, explore the museum and ramparts, and walk through the nearby Jaswant Thada. In the evening, enjoy a casual dinner sampling Jodhpuri specialties.
Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for fort visits — paths can be uneven.
Jodhpur to Jaipur — Cultural Food Walk & Evening Leisure
Depart Jodhpur after breakfast for a scenic drive to Jaipur (approx. 5–6 hours). On arrival in the Pink City, check into your hotel. In the evening, take a guided Rajasthani food walk through local markets to taste snacks like pyaaz kachori, dal baati churma, and sweets. Enjoy an optional evening cultural show or a relaxed hotel dinner.
Note: Drive durations are significant—carry light snacks and stay hydrated.
Jaipur Sightseeing — Amber Fort, City Palace & Departure
After breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort — take an optional elephant/jeep ride to the fort entrance. Continue to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and snap photos at the iconic Hawa Mahal. Enjoy a final lunch featuring Rajasthani specialties, do last-minute shopping for handicrafts, and then transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
