On arrival in Kohima, visit the Kohima War Cemetery and stroll through local markets to sample regional snacks and pick up last-minute trekking supplies. Dzukou Valley Trek, Explore & Camp under Stars
Early start from Kohima to the Dzukou trailhead (e.g., Viswema / Jakhama approach depending on permit and route). Begin the trek into the Dzukou Valley—a 6–8 km moderate trek through ridge trails, rhododendron trees and seasonal blooms. Reach the valley by midday, set up hillside camping and explore the valley meadows, streams and panoramic viewpoints. Enjoy sunset from the camp ridge and an evening around a campfire.
