Itinerary
Arrival, Transfer to Junagadh & Local Orientation
Morning: Arrival at Ahmedabad railway station/airport and meet your representative. Drive to Junagadh (approx. 5–6 hours) with scenic stops en route.
Afternoon: Check-in and lunch at a comfortable hotel. Short guided walk through Junagadh's old city, visiting the Uparkot Fort and local bazaars.
Evening: Briefing on the Girnar trek and safety, gear check, and optional stroll around the illuminated city.
Tip: Carry a light daypack and water bottle for the journey.
Girnar Trek — Summit & Temples
Early Morning: Drive to Girnar base. Begin the guided trek up Mount Girnar to catch the sunrise — explore ancient temples, stone steps, and panoramic vistas.
Midday: Descend and return to Junagadh for a relaxing lunch.
Afternoon / Evening: Visit Ashoka’s Rock Edicts and the Girnar Museum. Free time in the evening to relax.
Important: The trek includes several thousand steps. Wear sturdy trekking shoes and carry sun protection. Trekking pace will be moderate and guided.
Drive to Sasan Gir & Evening Safari Briefing
Morning: After breakfast, transfer to Sasan Gir (approx. 2 hours). Check into a jungle lodge or eco-resort set close to the sanctuary.
Afternoon: Lunch and rest. Visit the local interpretation center to learn about Asiatic lion conservation.
Evening: Pre-safari briefing, short nature walk around the lodge, and optional village visit to see local crafts.
Note: Safari timings are controlled by the park. Evening activities subject to park schedules.
Jeep Safari in Gir National Park & Transfer to Somnath
Early Morning: Guided jeep safari into Gir National Park to spot the Asiatic lion, sambar, spotted deer, and birdlife. Return to lodge for breakfast.
Late Morning: Check-out and drive to Somnath (approx. 1 hour).
Afternoon: Visit the Somnath Temple, Triveni Sangam, and the nearby beach. Witness the evening aarti at Somnath.
Tip: Carry binoculars for birding during the safari and modest clothing for temple visits.
Drive to Diu — Coastal Exploration & Kayak Introduction
Morning: After breakfast, drive to Diu (approx. 2–3 hours via scenic coastal route). Check-in at beachfront accommodation.
Afternoon: Introductory coastal kayak session with certified instructors in calm waters near Nagoa Beach. Safety briefing, basic strokes, and a guided shoreline paddle.
Evening: Explore Diu Fort and enjoy a seaside dinner.
Important: Kayaking is weather-dependent. Sessions may be rescheduled or replaced with alternate water activities.
Full Day Diu — Kayaking, Snorkeling & Beaches
Morning: Extended sea-kayak excursion along the coast with stops for snorkeling (equipment provided) and exploring sea caves.
Afternoon: Relax on Jallandhar, Ghoghla, or Naida beaches. Optional activities: stand-up paddleboarding, local seafood tasting, or bicycling around the island.
Evening: Sunset at the lighthouse and leisure time.
Tip: Waterproof your electronics and bring reef-safe sunscreen.
Return to Ahmedabad / Departure
Morning: Breakfast and check-out. Drive back to Ahmedabad (approx. 6–7 hours) or transfer to the nearest airport/railhead for onward travel. En route stops for refreshments and photo breaks.
Afternoon: Drop at Ahmedabad airport/station.
Note: Early or late departures can be arranged on request; consider adding an extra night in Ahmedabad if you have a late flight.
