Itinerary
Arrival & Sunset at Victoria Peak
Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport and transfer to your hotel on Hong Kong Island (Central/Wan Chai). Settle in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon. Late afternoon, take the historic Peak Tram or a short taxi ride up to Victoria Peak for panoramic city and harbor views. Evening at leisure with an optional dinner in Lan Kwai Fong or SoHo.
Tip: If your flight arrives late, we recommend a restful first night — the Peak is still accessible for a short visit.
Dragon's Back Hike & Shek O Beach Recovery
Start the day with the famous Dragon's Back ridge hike — a scenic, undulating trail with sweeping coastal views of Shek O, Tai Tam, and the South China Sea. Descend towards Shek O and enjoy relaxation time at Shek O Beach; optional surf or paddleboard session. Return to the city for a casual evening and local seafood dinner.
Fitness level: Moderate. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring sun protection and water.
Transfer to Lantau — Ngong Ping & Big Buddha
Check out and transfer to Lantau Island. Visit Ngong Ping Village and the Tian Tan (Big) Buddha via the Ngong Ping Cable Car for dramatic island vistas. Explore Po Lin Monastery and gentle walking trails around Ngong Ping. Evening: overnight in Lantau — enjoy a quiet coastal dinner.
Note: Cable car bookings recommended during peak season.
Coastal Kayak & Tai O Fishing Village Experience
This active day focuses on sea-kayaking the calm bays and coastlines of western Lantau. After a safety briefing and skills warm-up, paddle along scenic shores to hidden coves and watch for local marine life. In the afternoon, visit Tai O Fishing Village to see stilt houses, traditional salted-fish stalls and take a short sampan boat ride to view pink dolphins (seasonal / sightings not guaranteed).
Skill level: Beginner-friendly with guided support. Bring quick-dry clothing and reef-safe sunscreen.
Transfer to Sai Kung — GeoPark & Coastal Trails
Transfer to the New Territories and base in Sai Kung Town, the gateway to Hong Kong's most scenic eastern coastline. Hike sections of the MacLehose Trail or local coastal paths with views of High Island GeoPark and its hexagonal volcanic columns. Evening free to sample Sai Kung's famous seafood restaurants.
Note: The High Island GeoPark area offers remarkable geology — bring a camera and comfortable shoes.
Offshore Islands: Sharp Island & Sea Kayak Adventure
Full-day offshore-island exploration. Paddle or take short ferries to Sharp Island (Kiu Tsui) for snorkeling, secluded beaches and geological formations. Continue with island-hopping to smaller islets or try guided sea-cave paddling if conditions permit. Return to Sai Kung for a relaxed evening.
Safety note: Kayaking routes are chosen daily based on weather and tide conditions.
Sunset Peak or Lamma Island Peak Loop & Village Dinner
Option A: For a strong finish, tackle Sunset Peak on Lantau's hiking network for sweeping coastal ridgelines and expansive sea views. Option B: A gentler route is the Lamma Island loop — combine a coastal walk with seafood lunch in Sok Kwu Wan and stroll through local villages. Evening: celebratory seafood dinner and reflections on the week's adventures.
Choice depends on group fitness and weather — guides recommend the best option each morning.
Departure — Last Walk & Transfer to Airport
A relaxed morning with optional short walk or final shopping in Central or Sai Kung depending on where you are staying. Check out and transfer to Hong Kong International Airport for departure.
Reminder: Confirm flight time and allow 90–120 minutes for airport transfer depending on traffic.

Hong Kong Felt Safe From Day One
First time booking through a travel company and honestly I was nervous about handing over the planning to someone I'd only spoken to on WhatsApp. But TourGrids just made it easy. My wife and I had a lot of questions before confirming — flights, hotels, transfers — and they answered everything patiently over two or three calls. The itinerary they built for Hong Kong covered everything we wanted without feeling rushed. Hotels were proper good, cabs were always on time, and the coordinator was reachable throughout the trip. No last-minute surprises, no hidden charges when the final invoice came. What I appreciated most was that nothing felt like a gamble. Will definitely book with them again.
Hong Kong Hotels Were Genuinely Worth Every Rupee
Travelled to Hong Kong with my wife last month and honestly the hotels TourGrids picked were a cut above what I'd have booked myself. Every property was well-located, clean, and proper comfortable — not the budget-corner-cutting type you sometimes get with packages. The cab transfers were equally solid. Airport pickup was on time, intercity cabs were already coordinated before we landed, no waiting around figuring things out in an unfamiliar city. Our coordinator Priya was available on WhatsApp throughout and sorted a last-minute transfer change on call without any drama. No surprise charges at checkout either, which always matters. Planning happened over a couple of calls and it just fell into place.
Hong Kong Planned Across Three Easy Calls
Me and my wife had been putting off Hong Kong for two years because the planning always felt overwhelming. A colleague suggested TourGrids and honestly, from the first call itself the guy knew what he was talking about. He asked proper questions — our budget, whether we wanted more sightseeing or leisure, which areas we preferred for the hotel. Two more calls and a few WhatsApp messages later, the itinerary was ready. Everything was included — flights, hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, airport transfers, day trips. No back and forth on hidden charges either, the costing was clear upfront. The trip itself went exactly as planned. Really did not expect the process to be this straightforward.
