Itinerary
Arrival, Transfer to Ubud & Leisure
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar). Meet your driver and transfer to Ubud (approx. 1.5–2 hours). Check in to your hotel and take time to relax after your flight. In the afternoon enjoy a gentle orientation walk: visit Ubud Market and Ubud Palace. Evening at leisure — optional Balinese massage or a short walk through rice paddies.
Tip: If you arrive early, we recommend visiting the Campuhan Ridge Walk for sunset.
Ayung River White-Water Rafting & Ubud Highlights
Morning white-water rafting adventure on the Ayung River (suitable for beginners and intermediate paddlers). Enjoy rapids, jungle scenery, and rappelling/mini-abseil options at some providers. After lunch, explore Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, the Tegallalang Rice Terraces, and visit a local coffee plantation for a tasting of Luwak and traditional Balinese coffee.
Important: Bring quick-dry clothing and footwear that can get wet. Lockers are usually provided for valuables.
Mount Batur Sunrise Trek & Hot Springs
Pre-dawn transfer to Mount Batur area. Embark on the Mount Batur sunrise trek with a licensed guide (approx. 2 hours ascent). Reach the summit in time for spectacular sunrise views across the caldera and Mount Agung. After descent, relax at Toya Devasya Hot Springs and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Afternoon free — optional visit to a local art gallery or spa.
Fitness note: The trek is moderately challenging — wear good trekking shoes and bring a headlamp, layered clothing, and water.
Transfer to Tulamben via East Bali Sights
Check out from Ubud and drive east toward Tulamben/Amed (approx. 3–4 hours with stops). En route visit the water-palace Tirta Gangga and the scenic Taman Ujung (Suwung Garden). Arrive in Tulamben/Amed area, check in, attend a dive briefing (if diving following day), and enjoy sunset on the black-sand beaches.
Note: Road times vary — expect a full day with sightseeing stops.
Diving the USAT Liberty Wreck (Tulamben) — Two Dives
Full day scuba diving in Tulamben, home to the famous USAT Liberty Wreck — one of Bali's most iconic shore dives. Typically includes two guided dives, tanks, weights, and surface support. Marine life often seen: clownfish, pygmy seahorses, reef sharks, and colorful macro critters. Afternoon at leisure or optional additional dive.
Requirement: Divers must show current certification. Non-certified travelers can opt for a Discover Scuba Diving session (extra cost).
Optional Second Dive / Snorkel & East Bali Cultural Visit
Option for additional dives (boat or shore) or guided snorkel trips to explore Amed's reefs. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxed cultural day: visit local salt farms, traditional fishing villages, or take a cooking class. Evening free to enjoy seafood by the shore.
Tip: If you plan multiple dives during your stay, notify us in advance for dive center coordination.
Transfer to Uluwatu, Beach Time & Sunset Kecak Dance
Leave Tulamben/Amed for the south coast, heading to Uluwatu (approx. 3.5–4 hours). Check in and spend the afternoon at popular beaches like Padang Padang or Bingin. In the evening visit Uluwatu Temple perched on a cliff and watch the mesmerizing Kecak Fire Dance at sunset.
Important: Bring sun protection for daytime beach visits and bring a light jacket for the cliff breeze at sunset.

One Call Fixed Everything Before We Panicked
Our cab to the Bali airport was a no-show on the last day — driver just vanished, no response. My husband was already anxious about missing the flight. I messaged our TourGrids coordinator Neha on WhatsApp and within maybe 15 minutes she had another cab confirmed and on the way. No drama, no extra charge, she just sorted it quietly. That one moment honestly changed how I feel about booking through a company versus doing it yourself. Rest of the trip was also well planned — hotels were proper good, itinerary had the right balance of activities and free time. We travelled as a couple and genuinely had nothing to stress about.
Bali Hotel Switch Sorted Before Dinner Time
We landed in Bali and found out our Seminyak hotel had a plumbing issue — they were moving guests out. My wife was already tired from the flight and I had no idea what to do. Called our TourGrids coordinator Aryan and he was on it within minutes. By the time we'd had coffee at the airport café, he'd confirmed a replacement property nearby, same category, no extra charge. The whole thing was done on call, no back and forth nonsense. Rest of the trip — cabs, day tours, everything — ran exactly as planned. Travelling as a couple, you want someone to actually pick up when things go sideways. Aryan did.
WhatsApp Replies Faster Than My Own Family
Booked a Bali trip for me and my wife through TourGrids after a couple of calls with their team. What actually stood out was the coordinator assigned to us — Rahul, I think his name was. Every time something came up in Bali, whether it was a cab running late or confusion about a villa check-in time, the guy was on WhatsApp within minutes. Not hours — minutes. Even replied once when it was quite late back in India. Hotels were proper good, itinerary had the right balance of activities and free time. No surprise charges when we got back and checked the final breakdown. Honestly just felt like someone was genuinely tracking our trip the whole time.
Bali With No Backup Plan and No Regrets
I had never handed over an entire trip to someone else before — always booked everything myself. But my husband and I wanted to actually enjoy Bali without spending weeks on spreadsheets. A friend suggested TourGrids and honestly, I was skeptical. One long call with the coordinator later, I was less nervous. She noted everything — the kind of hotels we wanted, that we don't like rushed itineraries, our flight preference. No hidden charges, no vague answers. Everything was on WhatsApp so I could track what was confirmed. The hotels were proper good, cabs were always on time, and nothing felt like a last-minute scramble. Bali turned out to be everything we hoped, and I didn't have to fight for any of it.
Bali Cost Less Than My Own Quotes
I spent two weeks trying to piece together a Bali trip for me and my wife — flights, hotels, transfers, everything separately. The numbers were not adding up. A friend suggested TourGrids, and honestly I was skeptical at first. One long call later, they sent a full itinerary with three-star beachside hotels, airport transfers, a Ubud day trip, and daily breakfast included. The price was genuinely lower than what I'd calculated doing it myself. No hidden charges came up later, which I was half-expecting. The hotels were proper good, especially the one in Seminyak. Coordinator stayed reachable throughout the trip on WhatsApp. Bali ended up being exactly what we needed.
Bali Hotel Swap Fixed Before Dinner Got Cold
We were already in Ubud when we found out our beachside hotel in Seminyak had a water supply issue and wasn't fit to check in. My wife was upset, I was panicking — we had one night left and no backup. Called our TourGrids coordinator Rajan, and honestly within 40 minutes he had us shifted to a different property on the same stretch, comparable quality, no extra charge to us. He stayed on the call until we confirmed the new booking was showing on our phones. No running around, no arguing over costs. The whole Bali trip was well planned, but that one moment told me these guys actually stay accountable once you're travelling.
