Begin the scenic drive to Joshimath (approx. 8–9 hours depending on road/weather) with stops en route for refreshments and short photo breaks. Evening arrival, hotel check-in and briefing about the Uttarakhand Adventure tour package. Relax and acclimatize. Carry warm layers — mountain nights get cold.
Joshimath: Local Sightseeing & Cable Car to Auli
Explore Joshimath in the morning — visit Narsingh Temple, Shankaracharya Math, and local markets. After lunch, take the famous Auli Ropeway (cable car) up to Auli — a breathtaking ride offering panoramic Himalayan vistas. Evening at leisure in Auli; sunset views over snow-clad peaks. If traveling in winter, ensure you have anti-slip footwear.
Auli: Snow Activities & Panoramic Peak Views
Full day in Auli dedicated to snow and mountain experiences. Options include skiing lessons (seasonal), snowboarding, walking on groomed slopes, and enjoying the panoramic view of Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, and Kamat Kamet peaks. Photography, leisurely walks, and optional bonfire in the evening. Adventure activities can be pre-booked and are subject to weather conditions.
Gorson Bugyal Trek & Chattrakund Visit
Short, scenic trek/walk to Gorson Bugyal — a high-altitude alpine meadow offering expansive snowfields and panoramic mountain vistas; perfect for photography and relaxed exploration. Later, visit Chattrakund (a serene lake) and enjoy a picnic with views of the surrounding peaks. Return to hotel in Auli for overnight. Trail is easy to moderate; suitable for most fitness levels.
Leisure Morning in Auli — Return to Joshimath
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Auli — sunrise views are spectacular. After breakfast, descend to Joshimath by ropeway/drive. Drive Back to Dehradun with En-route Stops

Departure from Dehradun
