Depart early for the Perfume Pagoda area in My Duc. Begin with a scenic boat ride along the Yen Stream to the base of the pagoda complex. Today is flexible: relax and explore Hanoi’s markets and cafes, or take an optional full-day excursion to Ninh Binh (ancient capital of Hoa Lu) to visit Tam Coc by sampan, Bich Dong Pagoda, and Hoa Lu temples — an outstanding addition for those who want to extend their spiritual route.
