Itinerary
Arrival & Bhuj Heritage Walk
Arrive at Bhuj (airport/railway). Transfer to hotel and relax. Afternoon guided heritage walk covering Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal, and the Kutch Museum. Evening visit to the bustling local markets and Bhujodi weaving village for handloom demonstrations. Tip: Carry small change for local handicraft purchases.
Banni Grasslands & Handicraft Villages
Full-day excursion into the Banni Grasslands and surrounding craft villages. Visit Nirona (agama pottery & Rogan art), Hodka (traditional mud houses & cultural interactions), and local Ajrakh & bandhani workshops. Evening return to Bhuj. Transfer to Dhordo & Sunset on the White Rann

Coastal Exploration & Lakhpat Fort
Head northwest along the Kutch coast to Lakhpat Fort and the nearby wetlands of Narayan Sarovar. Explore the deserted lanes of Lakhpat, the historic fortifications and the unique birdlife in the wetlands. Sunset at the fort with views of tidal creeks. Overnight stay at Lakhpat or nearby guest house. Note: Facilities in Lakhpat are basic; plan accordingly.
Drive to Dholavira — Harappan Heritage
Morning drive to Dholavira, one of the most important urban settlements of the Harappan civilization. Guided archaeological tour of the excavated citadel, reservoirs and ancient drainage systems. Experience the scale and planning of an Indus Valley metropolis. Overnight in Dholavira or nearby accommodation. Important: Carry sufficient water and sun protection; facilities are limited.
Return to Bhuj via Local Sights
Travel back to Bhuj with stops at roadside craft clusters and small museums. Free time in Bhuj for last-minute shopping—pick up Ajrakh, bandhani, or leatherwork. Farewell dinner featuring local Kutchi cuisine. Overnight in Bhuj. Tip: Bargain respectfully at local bazaars.
Departure from Bhuj
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bhuj Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Optional extension suggestions: Gir (Asiatic lions), Sasan Gir wildlife circuit, or a longer coastal extension. Note: Plan onward connections keeping transit times in mind.
