Arrival, Transfer & Relaxation by the Beach
Arrive at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport and transfer to Grand Baie on the north coast (approx. 1–1.5 hours). Check in to your beachfront hotel and settle into island time.
Spend the afternoon strolling Grand Baie's sandy beaches, exploring local boutiques and enjoying a welcome drink. Evening at leisure with an optional sunset dinner at a beachfront restaurant.

North Island & Pamplemousses Garden Half-Day
Morning visit to the famed Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden (Pamplemousses Garden) to see giant water lilies and spice trees. Continue with a scenic drive through the northern coastline, stopping for photos at Cap Malheureux and its iconic red-roofed church.
Return to Grand Baie for a relaxed afternoon: optional water sports (kayak, stand-up paddle) or shopping at La Croisette. Dinner recommendation: sample Creole seafood at a local restaurant.
Tip: Comfortable walking shoes and a hat are recommended for the garden visit.
Transfer to East Coast & Sunset Leisure
Check out from Grand Baie and transfer to the east coast (Trou d'Eau Douce/Belle Mare). En route you may stop for photos at scenic lookout points. Arrive and check in to your east-facing resort with easy access to the boat launch for the next day's island trip.
Enjoy a sunset walk along the long beaches of the east coast and an optional spa treatment to unwind before the big day.
Note: Transfer time approx. 1–1.5 hours depending on route and traffic.
Ile aux Cerfs Catamaran Cruise & Snorkel — Signature Day
Today's highlight: a full-day Ile aux Cerfs Catamaran Cruise & Snorkel. Depart early from Trou d'Eau Douce on a comfortable catamaran. Cruise along the lagoon, stop for snorkeling at vibrant reef spots to see tropical fish and corals, and enjoy free time on Ile aux Cerfs beach for swimming and sunbathing.
Lunch (buffet or BBQ) is served on board or beach, followed by optional water activities (banana boat, parasailing — pay locally if not included). Return to the east coast in the late afternoon.
Important: Snorkel gear and life jackets are usually provided; bring reef-safe sunscreen and a waterproof camera.
Optional Adventure or South Coast Excursion
Choose an easy day or an optional guided excursion:
Option A — Relaxation: Beach time, resort leisure and optional marine spa treatments.
Option B — South Coast Adventure: Full-day guided drive (additional cost) to Black River Gorges National Park, Chamarel Seven Colored Earth and Rhumerie de Chamarel for rum tasting and panoramic views.
Evening: Farewell dinner with Creole specialties and optional cultural performance.
Tip: Book the south coast excursion at least a day in advance to secure guide availability.
Check-out & Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward flight. If time permits, enjoy a last quick stop for souvenirs or a beach stroll.
