Arrival at Bhuj & Heritage Walk
Arrive at Bhuj (by flight/rail/road). Transfer to the hotel and relax. In the afternoon explore the heritage core of Bhuj — visit Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal, and the Kutch Museum. Stroll through the vibrant Bhuj bazaars to see handicrafts and textiles. Evening orientation meeting and briefing for the Gujarat Adventure tour activities. Overnight in Bhuj.
Craft Villages: Bhujodi, Nirona & Local Workshops
Full day exploring the famous craft villages around Bhuj. Visit Bhujodi for handloom weaving, Nirona for Rogan art and lacquerware, and meet local artisans to see textile, leather and metal crafts being made. Photo stops and optional shopping. Drive back to Bhuj; evening free to explore local eateries.
Bhuj to Mandvi: Royal Palace & Beach Time
Drive to Mandvi after breakfast. En route enjoy scenic Kutch landscapes. In Mandvi visit Vijay Vilas Palace, walk along Mandvi Beach, and explore the historic shipbuilding yards (traditional wooden shipbuilders). Time to relax on the beach and watch the sunset at the coast. Overnight stay in Mandvi.
Mandvi to Dholavira – Harappan Heritage
Early departure for Dholavira, one of India’s most important Harappan archaeological sites (long drive with scenic desert views). Afternoon guided visit to the Dholavira excavations, museum and interpretation centre to understand the town planning, reservoirs and ancient fortifications. Overnight at Dholavira or nearby comfortable stay.
Dholavira to Dhordo (Great Rann) via Kalo Dungar
Drive towards the Great Rann of Kutch region. Stop at Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) for panoramic views and the famous war memorial and lone lighthouse. Arrive at Dhordo/Rann camp by afternoon. Explore the village of Hodka / Banni grasslands. Witness an unforgettable sunset over the white salt plain — perfect for photography. Camp activities, cultural performances (seasonal), and overnight in a tented camp.
Great Rann Exploration & Village Experiences
Early morning sunrise over the White Rann. Full day to explore the salt desert, take guided walks, and participate in local cultural experiences (folk music, crafts demo). Optional visits to Lakhpat Fort and Narayan Sarovar can be arranged depending on timing. Return to camp for sunset and an evening cultural program. Overnight at the Rann camp.
Departure via Bhuj – Farewell
After breakfast, drive back to Bhuj. En route, short stops for photos and local sightseeing. Transfer to Bhuj Railway Station/Airport for onward journey. End of the Gujarat Adventure tour package — memories of the Great Rann, ancient Dholavira and Kutch’s living crafts.

Gujarat Trip Priced Better Than I Calculated
I had actually done a rough calculation before calling TourGrids — hotels, cabs, flights separately for Gujarat. Gujarat Itinerary Built Over Three WhatsApp Calls
