Transfer to Alleppey & Sunset Backwater Canoe Ride
After breakfast drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha) — the gateway to Kerala’s backwaters. On arrival, check in to a village homestay or small eco-lodge. In the afternoon enjoy a guided shallow canoe (vallam kali) ride into the lagoons to watch village life from the water: fishermen, toddy palms, and floating vegetation. Houseboat Cruise to Kumarakom & Birdwatching Evening
Check out from the homestay and board a traditional houseboat (kettuvallam) for a scenic cruise across Vembanad Lake toward Kumarakom. Enjoy slow cruising past rice paddies, narrow canals and village docks. Arrive in Kumarakom by late afternoon and check in to a lakeside resort.
