Itinerary
Arrival in Rishikesh — Settle In & Ganga Aarti
Arrive at Rishikesh (by train/road/Dehradun airport transfer). Meet-and-greet at the hotel, check-in and relax. In the evening, experience the iconic Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat — a serene cultural welcome. Group briefing for the upcoming adventure activities and safety orientation.
Important: Arrivals are recommended by late afternoon to join the evening Aarti.
Ganges White-Water Rafting & Local Sightseeing
A full day of adrenaline with professional guides: Grade III-IV rafting on the Ganges (choose short/long stretch per comfort). Post-rafting, enjoy riverside lunch and time to explore Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and local cafés.
Notes: Minimum age and medical conditions reviewed before rafting. Lifejackets and helmets provided.
Drive to Chopta — Scenic Valley Transit
Depart early from Rishikesh and drive toward the Chamoli/Chopta region, passing through Devprayag and Rudraprayag — impressive confluence points and scenic Himalayan foothills. Arrive in Chopta by evening. Short walk to viewpoint; rest and prepare for the trek tomorrow.
Tip: Carry warm layers — evenings at Chopta can be chilly even in summer.
Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila Summit — Alpine Panorama
After breakfast, undertake the classic trek from Chopta to Tungnath Temple (world's highest Shiva temple) and ascend to Chandrashila for sunrise/peak views. Enjoy panoramic vistas of Nanda Devi, Trisul and other Himalayan giants. Descend back to Chopta for a relaxed evening.
Fitness: Moderate trek of 3–5 hours ascent depending on pace. Local guides accompany the group.
Transfer to Jim Corbett — Evening at the Wildlife Resort
Drive from Chopta to Jim Corbett National Park region (Ramnagar). Arrive and check in to a comfortable wildlife resort. Briefing on safari rules, wildlife etiquette, and park timing. Optional nature walk around the resort in the evening.
Travel note: This is a longer drive; start early and enjoy changing landscapes from alpine to Terai.
Jim Corbett Morning Jeep Safari & Birdwatching
Early-morning jeep safari into the jungle with naturalist guide — prime time for tiger and large mammal sightings. Return to the resort for a late breakfast. Afternoon at leisure: choose a guided birdwatching walk or spa (if available) at the resort.
Inclusions: One scheduled morning jeep safari. Additional safaris can be arranged at extra cost subject to park availability.
Optional Second Safari / Nature Activities & Drive to Haridwar
Optional early safari (pre-booked) or relaxed morning activity. After breakfast, check out and drive back toward Haridwar/Dehradun. En route stop for lunch and short sightseeing in Haridwar if time permits. Evening free to shop or enjoy another Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
Tip: If wildlife sightings are a priority, opt for the second safari on Day 7 (subject to park timings).
Departure from Haridwar / Dehradun — Journey Home
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Dehradun Airport or Haridwar railway station for onward travel. End of the Uttarakhand Adventure tour package with memories of mountains, rivers, and wildlife.
Reminder: Check transfer timings and allow buffer for traffic during peak season.
