Itinerary
Arrival in Jaipur – City Welcome
Arrive at Jaipur (by flight/train). Meet and transfer to your hotel. Relax and, time permitting, take an evening stroll through Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar. Enjoy a welcome briefing about the upcoming wildlife and desert adventure.
Tip: If you arrive early, visit the illuminated Hawa Mahal facade for great photos.
Golden Triangle Sights — Amber Fort & City Palace
Full-day sightseeing in Jaipur. Explore the magnificent Amber Fort with an optional elephant ride or jeep approach to the fort gate. Continue to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar (UNESCO), and photograph the iconic Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal. Evening at leisure with optional folk performance.
Note: Start early to avoid crowds and the midday heat.
Drive to Ranthambore — Evening Nature Walk
After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore National Park (approx. 3.5–4.5 hours). Check into your jungle lodge or resort. Relax and enjoy the property. Late afternoon join a guided village walk or nature trail on the periphery of the park to spot birds and smaller wildlife.
Important: Keep camera batteries charged for tomorrow's safari.
Ranthambore Tiger Safari — Jungle Excursions
Early morning jeep safari in Ranthambore in search of Bengal tigers and other wildlife — leopards, sloth bears, striped hyenas, sambar, and marsh crocodiles. Return for breakfast and optional rest. An optional afternoon Ranthambore Tiger Safari (subject to availability) increases your chances of sightings. Evening visit to Ranthambore Fort for panoramic views.
Tip: Book both morning and afternoon safaris in advance; permit allocations are limited.
Drive to Jodhpur — Blue City Introduction
After breakfast, depart for Jodhpur (approx. 5–6 hours). On arrival, check in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the lanes of the Old City. Sunset visit to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and the serene Jaswant Thada.
Note: Jodhpur's bazaars are great for traditional textiles and handicrafts — perfect for souvenirs.
Journey to Jaisalmer — Gateway to the Dunes
Morning departure for Jaisalmer (approx. 5–6 hours). Optionally stop at the ancient desert town of Osian for temples and camel rides en route. Arrive in the golden city of Jaisalmer. Evening free to explore the honey-colored lanes of Jaisalmer Fort.
Tip: Keep spare cash for small vendors and camel ride tips.
Jaisalmer Fort, Havelis & Desert Camp Experience
Explore the UNESCO-like charm of Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, and Gadisar Lake in the morning. In the late afternoon, transfer to the Thar Desert for an authentic desert experience — camel safari into the dunes, Sundowner at the crest, and an overnight stay in a desert camp with folk music and traditional Rajasthani cuisine.
Highlight: This night under the stars is the centerpiece of the Rajasthan Adventure package.
Departure from Jaisalmer — End of Expedition
After breakfast at the camp or hotel, return to Jaisalmer town. Transfer to the railway station or Jaisalmer/Jaipur airport for onward travel. Program concludes with cherished memories of wildlife sightings, royal forts, and desert sunsets.
