Itinerary
Arrival & Warm Welcome in Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur (by flight or train). Meet your representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in and freshening up, visit the imposing Amber Fort for a gentle introductory walk and a sunset view. In the evening enjoy a traditional Rajasthani puppet show and a short orientation where families receive welcome kits and a child-friendly activity booklet.
Tip: Early check-in subject to availability. Ask your agent about a turban-tying demo for kids.
Jaipur Forts, City Palace & Local Markets
Explore the royal heritage of Jaipur: start with City Palace and the ornate Jantar Mantar observatory, then photograph the iconic Hawa Mahal. After lunch, visit a family-friendly workshop to try block printing or turban-tying. Finish the day with a guided stroll through the bustling bazaars — perfect for handicraft shopping and sampling local snacks.
Important: Keep water and sun hats for children; some palaces have many steps.
Drive to Ranthambore & Evening Safari
Depart early for Ranthambore National Park (approx. 3–4 hours). After check-in, take an afternoon jeep safari in search of Bengal tigers, sambar deer and the park's rich birdlife. Learn about park conservation from a naturalist guide. Return to the lodge for dinner and storytelling around a safe campfire.
Note: Safari sightings cannot be guaranteed but experienced guides maximize sightings.
Morning Safari & Transfer to Bundi
Enjoy an early morning Ranthambore Tiger Safari for your best chance to spot wildlife. After breakfast, drive to the charming town of Bundi (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Check in and explore the serene stepwells such as Raniji ki Baori and hike to Taragarh Fort for panoramic views. Evening at leisure to wander Bundi's painted lanes.
Tip: Bundi's lanes are stroller-friendly but wear comfortable shoes for the fort climb.
Bundi Explorations & Drive to Udaipur
Morning exploration of Bundi's palaces, frescoed havelis and local craft shops. Meet local artisans to see traditional tie-dye and miniature-stamping techniques. After lunch, drive to Udaipur (approx. 4–5 hours). Evening arrival and relaxed lakeside dinner.
Note: Carry a small daypack and bottled water for the drive.
Udaipur: City Palace, Lake Pichola & Boat Ride
Discover the romantic city of Udaipur: guided tour of City Palace, stroll through Jagdish Temple and a scenic sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola to visit Jag Mandir island. Afternoon free for shopping or optional visit to Saheliyon-ki-Bari. Evening attend a family-friendly miniature painting workshop where kids can create souvenirs.
Important: Boat seats are limited during peak season — pre-book when possible.
Village Safari, Cooking Class & Folk Performance
Today's program focuses on cultural immersion: a gentle village safari to see rural life and a short camel-cart ride for children. Return to Udaipur for a hands-on Rajasthani cooking class (family edition) where you learn to make simple local dishes. In the evening enjoy a folk music and dance performance at a heritage venue.
Tip: Inform us of dietary restrictions in advance for the cooking class.
Departure from Udaipur
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Udaipur Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. If your schedule allows, enjoy a relaxed morning walk by the lake or last-minute shopping. Receive a family photo memento from the tour team before departure.
Note: Standard check-out times apply; late check-out can be arranged on request (charges may apply).

Our Rajasthan Coordinator Replied Before I Could Stress
Booked a Rajasthan trip with my wife through TourGrids and honestly, the coordinator they assigned us — Priya — was the real difference. Before the trip, she was always available on WhatsApp, never left us on read, and when I had last-minute confusion about the Jaisalmer hotel, she sorted it on call within ten minutes. On ground, when our cab to Jodhpur was running late, she tracked it herself and kept updating us without us having to follow up. Itinerary was well-paced, no hidden charges came up at checkout, and the hotels were proper good for the price we paid. Felt like someone was actually looking out for us the whole time.
Rajasthan Hotels Were a Genuine Step Up
We were honestly not expecting the kind of properties TourGrids put us in — my husband and I have done Rajasthan before on our own, and the difference was clear from the first night in Jaipur itself. The heritage hotel they booked had this whole courtyard setup, proper good vibes, nothing like those mid-range places we usually end up with. Udaipur and Jaisalmer stays were equally well chosen. And the cabs — always on time, clean cars, drivers who actually knew the routes. No waiting around, no last-minute confusion. Our coordinator had everything lined up before we even landed. Genuinely one of the better-planned trips we have taken as a couple.
