Arrival & Ahmedabad City Introduction
Arrive at Ahmedabad (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport). Transfer to the hotel and relax. Evening short orientation walk around Kankaria Lake followed by dinner at a family-friendly restaurant. Early check-in subject to availability.
Ahmedabad Heritage & Culture
Explore the heritage of Ahmedabad: visit Sabarmati Ashram, Adalaj Stepwell and the UNESCO-listed Old Ahmedabad lanes. Afternoon visit to Calico Museum or Auto World Vintage Car Museum (depending on interest) and an optional evening heritage walk through the pols. Wear comfortable shoes for walking.
Drive to Gir (Sasan) — Evening at Leisure
After breakfast, drive from Ahmedabad to Sasan (Gir National Park) (approx. 6-7 hours). En route, enjoy local snacks and short stops. Check in at a resort near Sasan Gir. Evening at leisure—resort activities or a nature walk around the property. Carry light jackets for early mornings.
Gir National Park Safari & Wildlife Day
Early morning Jeep Safari in Gir National Park to spot the Asiatic lion, deer, and diverse birdlife. Return to the resort for breakfast and rest. Afternoon visit to Devaliya Safari Park (enclosed safari park ideal for families) and local cultural village visit. Safari slots are time-specific — ensure ID and booking confirmation.
Sasan to Somnath — Temple & Sunset
Drive to Somnath after breakfast (approx. 2 hours). Visit the iconic Somnath Temple, explore the temple campus and the nearby Triveni Sangam. Enjoy a peaceful sunset and attend the evening aarti at the temple. Overnight stay in Somnath. Respect local customs when visiting temples.
Somnath to Diu — Island Arrival & Beach Time
After an early morning breakfast, drive to the island destination of Diu (approx. 1.5–2 hours). On arrival, check into the beach resort. Afternoon at Nagoa Beach for swimming and relaxation. Evening visit to the local market and seaside promenade. Carry sunscreen and hats for beach days.
Diu Island Exploration & Fort Visit
Full day in Diu: visit Diu Fort, Ghoghla Beach, Jalandhar Beach, and the Naida Caves. Explore colonial-era churches and enjoy seafood at a recommended family restaurant. Evening leisure at the resort or optional water sports for older kids. Water sports subject to weather and age/height restrictions.
Departure — Return to Ahmedabad or Onward
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Diu airport/drive to Ahmedabad based on your onward flight/train schedule. If time permits, quick stop at scenic viewpoints. Tour concludes with drop-off at Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station. Ask about optional extension packages or assisted transfers to Bhavnagar/Junagadh.
