Full day heritage tour of Ahmedabad. Visit Sabarmati Ashram (Gandhi’s residence), Jama Masjid, Teen Darwaza, and the exquisite Adalaj Stepwell. Option to visit the Calico Museum of Textiles (pre-booking recommended). Evening free for local shopping or a stroll at the riverfront.

Depart Ahmedabad for Bhuj, en route visiting the Modhera Sun Temple and Rani ki Vav (Patan) — both exceptional examples of Gujarat’s temple and stepwell architecture. Continue the drive to Bhuj and arrive by evening. Check in and rest.

Note: Carry water and snacks for the road; sites have limited food options.

Explore Bhuj and surrounding Kutch craft villages. Visit Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal, local bazaars, and witness traditional artisans — embroidery, weaving, and pottery. Afternoon drive to the Banni or nearby craft hamlets to see living traditions. Evening at leisure in Bhuj.

Highlight: Great opportunity to pick up authentic Kutch handicrafts — bargaining is common.

Early morning departure to Dhordo and the Great Rann of Kutch. Explore the salt plains, visit local cultural setups (seasonal Rann Utsav if applicable), and enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the white salt desert. Overnight in Dhordo or a desert camp with cultural performances (seasonal).

Note: If travelling in winter months, Rann Utsav provides nightly cultural shows and camp comforts. Summer visits can be harsh due to heat.

Drive south to the coastal town of Mandvi. Relax on Mandvi Beach, visit the ornate Vijay Vilas Palace, and see the historic shipbuilding yard where traditional wooden vessels are made. Sunset at the beach and leisure evening.

Tip: Carry sunscreen and hats; beach stretch is great for relaxed walks and local seafood.

Drive from Mandvi towards Sasan Gir (gateway to Gir National Park). Arrive and check into wildlife lodge. Short nature walk or local village visit in the evening. Prepare for next day’s safari.

Early morning jeep safari inside Gir National Park to spot the Asiatic lion, deer, and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out. Drive to Somnath in the afternoon. Visit the famous Somnath Temple for evening aarti by the sea.

Tip: Safari timings are strict—please carry ID and follow park regulations.

After breakfast, transfer to Ahmedabad (or Diu/Rajkot airport depending on onward connections). En route, optional stop at Junagadh to see Uparkot Fort and the historical sites (time permitting). Arrive Ahmedabad for onward flight or rail departure.
