Tip: Carry light warm clothing for evenings and a water bottle for the Aarti visit.

After breakfast depart early for Joshimath, en route enjoy scenic river confluences at Devprayag, and stops at Karnaprayag and Rudraprayag. Arrive in Joshimath by evening. Overnight in Joshimath — gateway to Auli and the Valley of Flowers region.

Note: Road journey is scenic but lengthy; expect photo stops and brief walks.

Transfer to the Auli cable car (Gondola) station early morning. Ride one of the longest gondolas in Asia to Auli, enjoying panoramic views of the Nanda Devi range and wide alpine meadows. Explore the Auli meadows, visit the Auli Artificial Lake, and walk easy trails offering spectacular sunrise vistas. Return to Joshimath / stay in Auli area as preferred. Overnight in Joshimath / Auli.

Suggestion: Bring sunglasses and a windproof jacket; the altitude can be breezy.

After breakfast drive from Joshimath to Govindghat (approx. 1-2 hrs). Begin the scenic trek to Ghangaria (about 13 km / options for pony/porter available). The trail follows the river with beautiful forest stretches and waterfalls. Arrive in Ghangaria by evening and check-in at the guesthouse. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

Important: Pack a small daypack with water, snacks, and rain protection. The trail is moderate but long.

Early morning trek from Ghangaria to the Valley of Flowers (approx. 3–4 km downhill). Spend the day exploring the UNESCO-listed meadows carpeted with alpine flowers and take in views of surrounding glaciers and waterfalls. Return to Ghangaria by late afternoon. Overnight in Ghangaria.

Note: Flower bloom season (usually July–August) offers the best experience; carry a camera and comfortable walking shoes.

Early start for the trek to Hemkund Sahib (approx. 6–7 km steep from Ghangaria). Visit the pristine Hemkund Lake and the historic Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib, soaking in the spiritual and alpine ambiance. Descend back to Ghangaria and relax in the evening. Overnight in Ghangaria.

Important: Hemkund involves high-altitude trekking—move at a steady pace and stay hydrated to avoid altitude discomfort.

After breakfast trek down to Govindghat and drive back through picturesque valleys toward the plains. Continue the scenic drive to Rishikesh with stops at riverside towns. Arrive in Rishikesh by evening. Overnight in Rishikesh.

Tip: Long driving day — rest well and stretch during stops.

Spend the day enjoying Rishikesh: option for river-rafting on the Ganges (grade II–IV, season dependent), visit Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and the serene Beatles Ashram. Evening Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat (optional). After activities, drive to Haridwar for overnight stay.

Optional: Pre-book river rafting as it is seasonal and may not be available during peak monsoon road/river safety alerts.
