Arrival in Colombo — Transfer to Negombo & Leisure
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo) and meet your private chauffeur-guide. Transfer to Negombo for an easy first night near the lagoon and beach. Check in to a luxury beachfront hotel and relax after your flight. If your flight arrives early we can arrange a relaxing spa treatment or a short lagoon boat ride (subject to timing).
Dambulla Cave Temples & Transfer to Sigiriya
Depart Negombo after breakfast and head to the Cultural Triangle. Stop at the impressive Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO site filled with ancient Buddhist murals and statues. Continue to Sigiriya and check in at a boutique heritage property near the rock. Evening at leisure with optional spa or pool time. Wear comfortable shoes for temple visits.
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Afternoon Safari
Early morning climb to the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress to beat the heat and the crowds—enjoy panoramic views and ancient frescoes. After lunch, take a private afternoon wildlife drive to Minneriya National Park to witness the famed elephant gatherings (seasonal). Return to Sigiriya for a gourmet dinner at your resort.
Polonnaruwa or Cultural Tour & Transfer to Kandy
Today choose between a guided tour of Polonnaruwa ruins (UNESCO) or extra time exploring Sigiriya's local villages. In the afternoon, drive to Kandy, passing scenic countryside and spice gardens. Evening visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic with a cultural performance option afterwards. Keep modest clothing for temple visits.
Kandy Highlights: Royal Botanical Gardens & City Walk
Explore Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens with an expert guide—orchids, spices and towering palms. Then enjoy a leisurely city walk through Kandy's lakefront, markets and colonial streets. Scenic Train Journey to Nuwara Eliya via Tea Country
Board the iconic hill country train for one of the world's most scenic rail journeys to Nuwara Eliya (seats reserved in a comfortable class or private carriage on request). Tea Estate Tour & Horton Plains (World's End)
Morning visit to a working tea estate and factory to learn about Ceylon tea production, with a private tasting. Later, optional excursion to Horton Plains National Park and World's End for dramatic views (early start recommended). Return to Nuwara Eliya with time to relax in your hotel's gardens.
Transfer to Yala — Evening Private Safari
Depart Nuwara Eliya after breakfast for a scenic drive south to Yala. Check in to a luxury safari lodge near the park. Full-Day Private Safari in Yala

Coastal Transfer to Bentota & Galle Visit

Departure Transfer to Colombo International Airport
Enjoy a final morning by the beach or an optional river safari in Bentota. After checkout, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo) for your international departure. If you have a late flight we can arrange a day-use room or additional activities.
