Itinerary
Arrival at Haridwar – Drive to Barkot (Yamunotri base)
Arrive at Haridwar / Dehradun railway station or airport in the morning. Meet your representative and begin the scenic drive to Barkot (approx. 6–7 hours) via Mussoorie foothills and picturesque valleys. Check in to your hotel and rest. Acclimatize and prepare for the early Yamunotri trip tomorrow.
Yamunotri Darshan and Return to Barkot
Early morning drive to Janki Chatti or Hanuman Chatti (depending on route). Trek/pony/buggy to Yamunotri Temple for darshan and visit the hot sulphur springs at Jankichatti. Perform puja and return to Barkot by evening. Carry warm clothing and sturdy footwear; steep/stony trails near the shrine.
Barkot to Uttarkashi – Evening Leisure
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi (approx. 5–6 hours) — the gateway to Gangotri. En route enjoy river valley vistas and small pilgrimage towns. Check-in, rest, and explore the local bazaar. Ensure hydration and rest well for next day’s Gangotri visit.
Gangotri Darshan – Return to Uttarkashi
Early departure to Gangotri (approx. 3–4 hours). Visit Gangotri Temple, take darshan of the Ganges (Bhagirathi) source, and absorb panoramic Himalayan views. Return to Uttarkashi by evening for overnight stay. High-altitude temperatures: wear layered clothing.
Uttarkashi to Guptkashi / Phata (Kedarnath base)
After breakfast depart for Guptkashi / Phata (approx. 6–7 hours) crossing scenic towns like Rudraprayag. Check into your hotel and attend pre-dawn briefing about the Kedarnath visit. If you have pre-booked the helicopter, details will be confirmed tonight.
Kedarnath Darshan (Helicopter / Trek Option) – Return to Guptkashi
Option A (Helicopter): Early morning transfer to helipad (Phata/Guptkashi) for a helicopter ride to Kedarnath for darshan of Kedarnath Temple and return to Guptkashi by late afternoon. Option B (Trek): Drive to Gaurikund/Sonprayag, trek or pony to Kedarnath (subject to fitness), darshan and return to Guptkashi over the day(s) allocated. Helicopter is recommended for this 8-day schedule; trekking requires more time and stamina.
Guptkashi to Joshimath – Approach Badrinath
Depart early for Joshimath / Badrinath region (approx. 8–9 hours) passing through Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, and dramatic mountain valleys. Arrive in Joshimath and proceed to Badrinath for evening aarti (time permitting). Check-in at hotel in Badrinath / Joshimath.
Badrinath Darshan – Return to Haridwar / Departure
Early morning darshan at the sacred Badrinath Temple, visit Mana Village (the last Indian village) and Vishnuprayag if time permits. After darshan begin return drive to Haridwar (or Dehradun) for onward journey. Drop-off at Haridwar / Dehradun airport/railway station included as per itinerary schedule.

- Entry fees at monuments (if any) and evening aarti donations/puja charges
