Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your traditional houseboat or hotel on the banks of Dal Lake. Relax and refresh before a late afternoon shikara ride across the lake — an iconic Kashmiri experience. Visit the floating gardens and markets, and enjoy a welcome dinner featuring Kashmiri Wazwan-style dishes.

Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya & Old City Heritage Walk
Full-day cultural tour of Srinagar's heritage. Start with the Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh — offering terraced lawns, fountains and views over Dal Lake. Next, drive to the Shankaracharya Temple (viewpoint) for panoramic city vistas. In the afternoon, take a guided Old City heritage walk through narrow lanes, visiting Jamia Masjid, artisan workshops (papier-mâché, pashmina), and bustling bazaars.
Tip: Wear comfortable shoes for the heritage walk and carry water; mornings are less crowded.

Pampore Saffron Fields & Awantipora Ruins Day Trip
Day trip to Pampore, the heart of Kashmiri saffron cultivation. Walk through fragrant saffron crocus fields (seasonal: best in October–November), meet local saffron growers, and learn about harvesting and processing techniques. Continue to the Awantipora Ruins — notable archaeological remains and early medieval temples — and visit the Verinag Spring, source of the Jhelum River.
Note: Saffron bloom is seasonal; if traveling off-season, the visit includes a saffron processing demonstration and spice-tasting session.
