Itinerary
Arrival in Srinagar — Welcome to the Valley
Arrive at Srinagar airport where you'll be met by a private chauffeur. Transfer to a premium houseboat or boutique hotel on Dal Lake. After check-in relax and enjoy a private Shikara cruise at sunset, taking in the floating gardens and tranquil waters. Evening at leisure with a specially prepared welcome dinner. Tip: Carry light woolens even in summer evenings.
Srinagar — Mughal Gardens & Local Heritage
After breakfast explore the famed Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Visit the historic Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic city views. Afternoon guided walk through the old city and local bazaars (handicrafts, Pashmina, paper mâché). Evening enjoy a private Kashmiri cultural performance at the lodge (seasonal). Note: Gardens bloom spectacularly in spring (April–June).
Srinagar to Gulmarg — Scenic Drive & Alpine Meadows
After an early breakfast transfer by private car to Gulmarg (approx. 2–3 hours). Check in to a premium mountain lodge. Spend the afternoon exploring the Gulmarg Golf Course and meadows. Gulmarg — Gondola Ride & High Alpine Views
Today experience the iconic Gulmarg Gondola (Phase 1 & 2) — one of the highest cable car rides in the world. Important: Gondola availability depends on weather; Phase 2 may close in high winds.
Gulmarg to Pahalgam via Scenic Valleys
After breakfast depart for Pahalgam (approx. 4–5 hours) with a scenic drive through apple orchards and riverside stretches. En route stop for photos and refreshments. Check in to an upscale riverside lodge in Pahalgam. Evening private riverside dinner arranged for couples. Tip: Pahalgam's altitude is moderate; perfect for leisurely walks.
Pahalgam — Betaab & Aru Valley Private Picnic
Full day exploring Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Baisaran (Mini Switzerland). Enjoy a private picnic set-up in a scenic meadow and guided nature walk along the Lidder River. Return to Srinagar — Leisure, Houseboat Stay
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar and check into your premium houseboat or boutique hotel. Afternoon at leisure for shopping and exploring Srinagar city's lesser-known corners. Evening enjoy a private candle-lit dinner on the houseboat or a curated in-room dining experience. Tip: Bargain gently in local markets; quality Pashmina is a great keepsake.
Sonamarg Day Excursion & Departure Transfer
Optional early morning full-day excursion to Sonamarg and Thajiwas Glacier (seasonal). Return to Srinagar in the afternoon for last-minute relaxation. In the evening transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward flight with fond memories of your Kashmir Honeymoon package.
