Arrival, Welcome & Sunset Shikara Experience
Arrive at Srinagar Airport where you'll be met and transferred to your boutique houseboat or heritage hotel on Dal Lake. Spend the afternoon settling in and enjoying the serene views. In the early evening, take a private Shikara ride across Dal Lake to watch the sunset over the Himalayas. Return for a welcome dinner featuring Kashmiri delicacies.
Tip: Request a lakeside room for the best sunrise views.
Mughal Gardens & Old City Heritage Walk
After breakfast, enjoy a private guided tour of Srinagar's famous Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. These terraced gardens offer picture-perfect backdrops and peaceful strolls. In the afternoon, explore the Old City: visit the Jamia Masjid, browse artisan shops for Pashmina shawls, papier-mâché, and silverware, and learn about Kashmiri handicrafts.
Note: Carry light cash for small artisan shops; many accept cards but small vendors may not.
Day Trip to Gulmarg — Meadows & Gondola
Today you will take a scenic private drive to Gulmarg (approx. 1.5–2 hours). Explore the alpine meadows and, if desired, take the famous Gulmarg Gondola (Phase 1 and optional Phase 2) for panoramic mountain views. Activities available include leisurely walks, pony rides, or — in winter — skiing and snow activities. Return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
Important: Gondola tickets and Phase 2 availability can vary seasonally; we recommend booking in advance for peak season.
Pahalgam Excursion — Lidder Valley & Betaab Valley
Depart early for a full-day excursion to Pahalgam (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Enjoy the scenic drive through pine forests and mountain vistas. Visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and take riverside walks along the Lidder River. Return to Srinagar in the evening.
Tip: Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for valley trails and short hikes.
Leisure Morning & Departure
Enjoy a relaxed morning with an optional early morning Shikara or stroll through the local market to pick up last-minute souvenirs like Pashmina or Kashmiri saffron. After checkout, you'll be transferred to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight.
Note: Depending on your flight time, the hotel can arrange a late checkout or luggage storage so you can make the most of your final hours.
